Food wrapping paper and cone
Papers from 35 to 140 g/m² for wrapping, forming a cone or making food bags, weight chosen for the use.
From sheet to cone
One family of papers for food packaging and quick service: wrap a product, form a cone, or feed a bag line.
Why several basis weights ?
The lighter the paper, the easier it folds and wraps; the heavier it is, the better the cone or bag holds its shape.
The 35 to 140 g/m² range covers soft wrapping (a sandwich, a pastry) through to firmer paper for a cone or bag. These papers can be extruded, laminated or coated as needed (barrier, print, hold).
For thin bakery or fruit-and-vegetable bags, weights often stay between 35 and 60 g/m². Food-contact attestations are requested on quote.
