What is a micro-perforated complex pouch ?
A pouch made of several film layers, pierced with micro-holes so the product can breathe while keeping a barrier.
Complex film combines several materials (for example PE, PET, PA, PP or an aluminium layer). Each layer plays a role: mechanical strength, moisture or gas barrier, outer appearance.
Micro-perforation adds very small regular holes. Air and moisture circulate a little, which suits fruit, vegetables and fresh products that need to “breathe”. Format, bottom type, closure and print are defined when ordering, on quote.
